CASA Australia officials have begun discussions to consider ruling on all banner towing flights over major metro cities throughout Australia.

While current regulations allow selective banner towing overflights by both fixed wing and rotorcraft, recent lawsuits brought by banner towing operators against CASA will now allow the agency to finally clarify the regulations which may be re-written entirely.

Officials in Australia have said that the overall size of the banner in tow may be limited for metro overflights regardless of the towing system or aircraft being used.
